ABOUT CAROLINE LINDSAY

Caroline Lindsay is a Masters Level 7 post graduate Veterinary Physiotherapist whose training is underpinned by a First Class Honours Degree that qualified her to treat human patients first. Now with 18 years' professional experience combining manual and electrotherapy techniques with rehabilitative exercise programmes. She is also a Master Saddle Fitting Consultant with a special interest in saddle fitting for the horse in rehabilitation and related problems. Caroline is also a qualified trainer of Veterinary Physiotherapy and runs regular Continued Professional Development (CPD) courses for equine therapists.

Caroline is a full member of both the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP) and the Society of Master Saddle Fitting Consultants. Based in North Essex, she covers North Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and South Suffolk and her Equine Therapy CPD courses are held in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Caroline runs a Facebook Group Learn Equine Therapy Rehabilitation Techniques where equine therapists from around the world discuss current issues in Equine Therapy as part of their ongoing Continued Professional Development.

Recognising that owners of horses and dogs with both clinical and sub-clinical conditions required niche comfort products and professional advice, Caroline set up HappyTack.co.uk in 2007 - an online store which stocks only comfort, functional, well-being and therapy products for horses, dogs and horse riders.

Caroline has gained the unique award of CertEd VPT, taught by a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an institute which advises Universities and Colleges on sound, effective teaching practices, committed to ensuring that students of Higher Education reach their full academic potential.

Formulated specifically for Veterinary Physiotherapy professionals, the CertEd VPT course content was comprehensive and students were assessed on their practical session skills as well as on the art of formulating valid assessment questions and lecturing.
